Case Club Membership   - Ends 12/31/2009

We are currently in the process of eliminating our current Case Club Membership due to our inabilty to enforce the rules of the club without offending individual customers.  Over the past year we have experienced too many confrontational issues with members to warrant  the continuation of this program.  Much of the problem relates to the accumulation of points over a number of years and the perceived value of the points which, when forfeited due to the failure to keep current, has resulted in some pretty difficult situations.  The result of these situations is that we have been placed into situations where we are being given the ultimatum of either not enforcing the rules or  losing the customer.  

The system was never intended to have a monetary value associated with it but with the accumulation of points over many years, it is apparent that enforcement of the rules results in great hardship and greater resentment of the rules.  Combining this with the numerous times that people have tried to redeem points without following the procedures for the redemption of points and we basically have come to the conclustion that we have an incentive program that is doing more harm to our reputation than good to our business.  As a result the program is being restructure to an annual points program so that everyone that has earned points throughout the year will receive our gift to them in the form of a credit towards future purchases.

For existing members who have points that qualify to be carried over to 2010  you will be able to redeem your points over the next six months as detailed below.   If your points expired in 2009, all is not lost.  Click here for our Amnesty Program .  Case Club Membership continued from year to year provided that the member earns at least 200 points during each calendar year and provided further that at least 100 points are earned by purchases in the retail shop. In the event that 200 points are not earned during any calendar year or at least 100 points are not earned in the retail shop during any calendar year, the membership and points earned will be forfeited.  We do not notify members of their point balance and do not inform them when their membership will expire.  Staying in the club is the responsibility of the Member.  If you satisfied the above rule, your points have been carried over and you will be able to use you points as follow prior to June 20th, 2010 or convert your points to a gift card.  Additional points cannot be earned on Case Clubs after 12/31/2009..

1.        Credits for J’s Restaurant -- If you have a minimum of 500 points carried over, you can exchange 500 points for a $50.00 credit towards your bill when you dine at J’s Restaurant any Wednesday, Thursday or Friday evening except if the Wednesday, Thursday or Friday night is a special nights such as Valentine's Day, NY Eve or special events in which case points cannot be used.  Simply email to email@nashobawinery.com with the request for a time and date of your reservation, the number of people in your party, your case club number and the number of points (in 500 unit increments) that you wish to exchange.  If the time and date is available we will make your reservation, remove the points from your account and issue a credit that will be available on the night of your reservation.  The only catch is that if you cancel your reservation or do not show, your points and credit will be lost. 

  • Request for reservations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to insure plenty of time for confirmation and processing as it usually takes at least 48 hours and as much as 72 hours to process. 

  • To request a reservation please e-mail: email@nashobawinery.com with the information detailed above.  Do not use the on-line reservation system.  Notes that are placed by customers in the on-line reservation system are not read by our staff until the night of the reservation and they do not have the ability to convert points to credits and therefore cannot honor such request.

  • Please do not make a reservation and subsequently ask for credits to be posted to an existing reservation as this only complicates the process as we will have to cancel the reservation made and start the process all over.

  • Unfortunately, the process is not simple as three different programs have to be accessed to reduce the points, issue a credit and make the reservation with the appropriate notations.  Your cooperation with and understanding of the process is greatly appreciated.

2.   Donate points to charity - Members may contribute their points for products to be donated to charities. Nashoba Valley will forward a gift card or product (Member's Choice) to a charity designated by the member in the amount of $10.00 for every 100 points surrendered by the member. This is a great way for us to support the charities that our members support.  To request a donation please e-mail: email@nashobawinery.com

 3.  Credits for our Sunday Brunch Series "On the Tasting Table" -- If you have a minimum of 500 points, you can exchange 500 points for a ticket to one of our Sunday Brunch with the Chef events subject to availbility. For more information Click Here .  To request a reservation please email: email@nashobawinery.com together with the date that you wish to attend and your case club number.  Please do not follow the link listed on the site for making reservations as you will be asked to provide a credit card to pay.

 4.  Convert Your Points to a Gift Card -- Beginning in January, points that are qualified to be carried over to 2010 will be eligible to be converted to a gift card at the conversion rate of $5.00 for every 100 points carried forward.  To be carried forward
Any member that has earned at least 200 points during 2009 with at least 100 points earned by purchases in the retail shop will be allowed to retain their points for a period of six months during which time, points earned must be used in accordance with the following redemption policy.  Unused points will expire without any right or recourse.. The old case club points will be able to be
