J's Restaurant at Nashoba Valley Winery is seeking part time help for the following shifts.

RESTAURANT STAFFING

J's Restaurant ~ Host Position

Responsible for ensuring that all dinner guests have the highest quality dining experience possible by providing exceptional host and courteous telephone skills, ability to handling reservations, greet and seat guests, monitoring the flow/pace of the dining room while offering support to servers.  Shifts available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 11:00 – 2:30 PM.  All shifts do not need to be filled by the same person. .  Starting pay commensurate with experience and competitive with market.

 J's Restaurant ~ Server Position

Experienced server with fine dining experience to compliment our highly committed and professional staff.   Wine knowledge a plus.  We are ideally looking for server/servers to fill day shifts of Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 10am to 3:30 pm and Sunday Brunch from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.  All shifts do not need to be filled by the same person.  These are very well tipped positions.   Contact Richard via email only at  rap@nashobawinery.com

Retail Associate

Now Hiring! Nashoba has opportunities available for highly motivated and enthusiastic retail salesperson working Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Candidates must be self-starters and team players with positive attitude.  Our goal is to provide a fun and educational environment for everyone that visits and to build genuine relationships with our customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Customer Service, Retail Sales, Winery Tours
 Candidate must be at least 21 years of age since the job requires the serving and handling of wine.   Starting Rate of $9.00 to $11.00 per hour to qualified applicant after initial training.

Experienced Cook

If you are a talented culinary student eager to pursue his or her passion for excellence and willing to back it up with 100% commitment, this should interest you. Our progressive American cuisine is unique, precise, and seasonal.

J’s, an upscale, fine dining restaurant, currently seeks an experienced cook to complement its kitchen staff of culinary professionals. Best suited for this position is a candidate with at least one year fine dining experience or an Associates Degree from a culinary school.  Candidates must be personable with a proven ability to manage him/herself, a passion for excellence, openness to guidance, and a respect for the classic expectations of a professional kitchen.

Responsibilities: To plan, prep, mise en place and provide quality execution in stationary areas of food production in accordance with guided specifications, while maintaining organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment.

Dishwasher

If you are looking to get your foot in the door of the restaurant industry, and prefer to work in the kitchen with possible plans of moving up, we can give you that opportunity.  Our dishwashers are expected to work with little supervision and will need to keep up with the dirty dishes as they come back to the kitchen so that there will always be clean plates, glasses, bowls and silverware for the incoming guests.   The pay ranges between minimum of $8.00 to $9.00 U.S. dollars per hour depending on experience and desire.
