Pick Your Own
2009 Season
LAST WEEKEND FOR PYO
PICKING RED DELICIOUS
Just minutes away from Boston and Worcester,
the orchard is a popular destination to pick your own fruit.
Bring family and friends to pick and delight in our idyllic country setting.
.
Come discover why “Boston Parents Paper” and “Cooking Lite Magazine” have both
voted Nashoba Valley Winery “Best Place to Pick Apples.”
For up-to-the-date information, call 978-779-5521, or visit the website at
www.nashobawinery.com/orchard.aspx.
When we are picking fruit the orchard is open for picking every day from 10:00
a.m. and closes promptly at 5:00 p.m. Please make sure to purchase your
bag with enough time available to pick all of your apples before the orchard is
closed. We do not offer refunds for partial or empty bags.
We accept cash throughout the farm, and cash and credit cards only in the winery shop and restaurant. Please keep this in mind when planning your trip to the farm. On busy days, especially weekends, using cash will reduce your wait time greatly. Please, stop at the ATM and bring cash this weekend!
There is an ATM at Clinton Savings Bank on Route 117 just before the entrance to
Route 495 and also an ATM at Bolton Orchards which is located on Route 117 about
3 miles west of Route 495.

Other
varieties are available for picking by appointment. To register to pick other
varieties, please send an email to
email@nashobawinery.com requesting that you be
included on our picking distribution list. Over a period of approximately 9 weeks you will be receiving a
weekly email informing you of the unique or antique varieties of apples that we grow that are ready to pick.
When you receive notice about a specific variety that you wish to pick and want to make an appointment, please
send an email stating the variety or varieties that you wish to pick and the
time and date that you wish to pick. Within 36 hours you will receive a
confirmation of your request. Please do not email me on the day that you wish to pick as I
am generally out in the orchard once the day begins and cannot respond.
Please refrain from requesting appointments for varieties that have not been announced as being available
as these email will not be responded to.
Also please do not call as I am very seldom at my desk or
return calls. But, I am very good with coordinating by email.
For a list of apples and approximate ripening dates, click the following link.

Every year is different so the dates on this link are intended as approximate
ripening dates and not the dates that you should contact me to schedule an
appointment. Appointments are only made for apple varieties that have been
announced by an email as being ready to pick.
Thanks for your continued interest in our farm and the apples that we grow.
Please continue to use email as our preferred (and only) method of
communication.
