J’s Picnic Lunch

Picnic lunches are available every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

We have the availability to prepare 120 lunches per day and often sell out on sunny days at which time the on line ordering system is closed.

Orders may be placed on-line only.   ORDERS PLACED CANNOT BE CANCELLED OR RE-SCHEDULED
We only sell a limited number of sandwiches for each day and often close our on line store once we have received a certain number of orders. Once closed it is impractical to re-open the store so we do not allow orders to be cancelled or re-scheduled. When placing an order you are accepting the risk that your plans may change or that the weather will not cooperate.

Once the Picnic Lunch season starts our delicious gourmet picnic lunches will be available until the end of November 2016 except when the restaurant is closed for vacation or during our festival days. Our lunches are fresh and prepared daily by J’s, our award winning Zagat rated gourmet winery restaurant and are available on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Picnic Lunches TO GO can be ordered at any time on-line but are available for pick up at the Wine Shoppe only between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Orders for the same day must be placed prior to 2:00 pm. Please allow at least 1 hour from the time of placing your order to the time that you designate for pick up.

We invite you to have lunch at one of our picnic tables or winery porch, depending on availability. Enjoy a wine tasting or a bottle of wine or hand-crafted micro-brew from our winery to have with your lunch. The costs of wine tasting and wine or beer purchases are not included in the cost of the picnic lunch menu.

Our picnic lunches are fresh and prepared daily by J’s,  our award winning Zagat rated gourmet winery restaurant.


All Gourmet picnic lunches are $15.00 (plus tax) per person and include:

  • Seasonal side salad

  • House Made Chocolate Brownie

  • Potato Chips

  • Utensils and napkins

  • Scenic Winery location

and one of the following:

    • J’s Turkey Club – Roasted turkey breast, beefsteak tomato, red oak lettuce, apple wood smoked bacon, garden basil aioli, wheat berry bread

    • Peppered Roast Beef – Smith’s sharp cheddar, house barbecue sauce, caramelized onions, baby arugula, crispy french baguette

    • Apple Wood Smoked Ham – Swiss cheese, iceberg lettuce, Dijon-mayonnaise, garden tomato, ciabatta

      Vegan Vegetable Wrap – Roasted mushrooms and eggplant, white bean-rosemary purée, baby spinach, toasted almonds, vegan wrap

  • Vegetarian Garbanzo Bean and Feta Cheese Salad – Roasted red peppers, red onion, sun dried tomato, garden herbs, white balsamic vinaigrette
  • Peanut Butter and Jelly$8.00 (plus tax) includes potato chips and house made brownie

  • Cheese & Charcuterie* $40.00 (plus tax) for 2 people OR $70.00 (plus tax) for 4 people

    *NOTE:   Cheese & Charcuterie is only available Thursdays to Sundays and requires a 24 hour advance notice. Includes 2 local cheeses changing daily, Country Pork pate, Fennel salami, game sausage house made duck rillettes, crackers, fresh grapes, cornichons and whole grain Dijon.

    Orders must be placed on-line by clicking this link for pick up on or after Saturday, April 9th, 2016.   Note that Nashoba Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase on line picnic orders as the site is hosted by Netwaiter.

Please do not call the restaurant to place Picnic Lunch to go orders.

Orders for the same day must be placed prior to 2:00 pm. Please allow at least 1 hour from the time of placing your order to the time that you designate for pick up.

When you place your order on-line please be sure to state the date and time you want to pick up your order in the "Notes" section of the on-line ordering process. The "Notes" section is on the page where you are required to enter your credit card information. Your orders will be available for pick up at the Wine Shoppe at the time that you specify when placing your order.

You may also place your order in advance of the day that you want it ready by placing the date in the Notes Section. If you do not put a date on the order, we will assume that your order is to be prepared on the date that the order is placed except for orders placed on Monday or Tuesday, we will then assume that you want your order prepared for pickup on Wednesday since the restaurant is not open on Monday or Tuesday.
