Honey Apple Wine



Description
A light-bodied semi-sweet wine with pear and pineapple aromas. Clean and well-balanced, with zesty acidity on entry and lingering perfumey character.

    Fruit
    A blend of Baldwin and McIntosh apples and locally produced honey are used.

    Winemaking
    Apples are crushed and pressed similar to our other apple wines. The must is then capitalized with honey. It ferments dry and is aged in stainless steel tanks until bottled with 2-3% residual reducing sugar.



    Aging
    This wine is ready to drink young and ages well for 2-3 years.

    Food Pairings and Serving Suggestions
    Works well with poultry, lamb or vegetarian entrees, particularly Middle Eastern cuisine, or serve as an aperitif. Serve chilled.
