2019 Picnic Season is CLOSED

General Picnic Information and Online Ordering

Orders may be placed on-line only. ORDERS PLACED CANNOT BE CANCELLED OR RE-SCHEDULED.

Online ordering is now closed.

We only sell a limited number of sandwiches for each day and often close our on line store once we have received a certain number of orders. Once closed it is impractical to re-open the store so we do not allow orders to be cancelled or re-scheduled. When placing an order you are accepting the risk that your plans may change or that the weather will not cooperate.  Please see any retail associate for your picnic pick up in the wine shoppe.

Once the Picnic Lunch season starts our delicious gourmet picnic lunches will be available from the end of April until the end of October 2019 except when the restaurant is closed for vacation or during our festival days. Our lunches are fresh and prepared daily by J’s, our award winning Zagat rated gourmet winery restaurant and are available on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Picnic Lunches TO GO can be ordered at any time on-line but are available for pick up between the hours of 11:00 am and 3:00 pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Sunday and 11:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

For same day orders Wednesday, Thursday and Friday please allow at least 1 hour from the time of placing your order to the time that you designate for pick up.  During the months of September and October a 24 hour advance is strongly recommended for Saturdays and Sundays picnic orders as we usually sell out and picnics will be closed for same day weekend orders.

We invite you to have lunch at one of our picnic tables or winery porch, depending on availability. Enjoy a wine tasting or a bottle of wine or hand-crafted micro-brew from our winery to have with your lunch. The costs of wine tasting and wine or beer purchases are not included in the cost of the picnic lunch menu.

We have the availability to prepare 120 lunches per day and often sell out on sunny days at which time the on line ordering system is closed.

As a courtesy, we allow small gatherings of 16 people or less to enjoy our farm and picnic grounds.   Groups or gatherings of more than 16 people will not be allowed to set up on our picnic grounds and we will limit the number of tables that we allow to be grouped together to two tables which should accommodate about 10 to 16 people. If you wish to have a family outing, re-union or gathering of more than 16 people, please contact us to discuss options for hosting your private functions.

Our picnic lunches are created by Executive Chef Matt Sciabarrasi and prepared  fresh daily at our award winning Zagat rated gourmet winery restaurant.

Please do not call the restaurant to place Picnic Lunch to go orders.  Note that Nashoba Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase on line picnic orders.

Please allow at least 1 hour from the time of placing your order to the time that you designate for pick up.

When you place your order on-line please be sure to state the date and time you want to pick up your order in the “Notes” section of the on-line ordering process. The “Notes” section is on the page where you are required to enter your credit card information. Your orders will be available for pick up at the Wine Shoppe at the time that you specify when placing your order.

You may also place your order in advance of the day that you want it ready by placing the date in the Notes Section. If you do not put a date on the order, we will assume that your order is to be prepared on the date that the order is placed except for orders placed on Monday or Tuesday, we will then assume that you want your order prepared for pickup on Wednesday since the restaurant is not open on Monday or Tuesday.

Advanced Picnic Table reservations are OPTIONAL.  Picnic tables are open for public use throughout the year.  We recommend advance picnic reservations during our busy harvest months of September and October
