The storage facility will be used solely for wine and distilled spirits produced at the farm.  The storage facility will be built in a valley that is unsuitable for farming due to the topography.  The location, use and especially the placement of solar panels has received the approval and support of the Agricultural Commissioner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  Service to the solar panels and storage facility will be integrated with the  winery/distillery facility so that all electricity generated will be used on site replacing about 70% of the electricity currently purchased from National Grid and having an annual CO2e offset of about 149,015 pounds
