Outside Cake Policy for J’s 

At J’s Restaurant, we love being part of your special celebrations! To accommodate our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and service, we allow outside cakes with the following guidelines:

Outside Cake Guidelines:

1. Licensed Bakery Requirement – All cakes must be from a licensed commercial bakery. Homemade cakes are not permitted for food safety reasons.
2. Cake Handling & Storage – Our team cannot store, refrigerate, or handle outside cakes beyond serving. Please bring your cake ready for presentation.
3. Cake-Cutting & Service Fee – A cake-cutting fee of $4 per person applies for plating, service, and cleanup. This fee helps maintain our standards of hospitality and presentation.
4. Liability Waiver – By bringing an outside cake, guests assume full responsibility for its ingredients, preparation, and any potential allergens.   J’s Restaurant is not liable for any food safety issues or reactions related to outside cakes.
5. Advance Notice Required – Please inform us at least 4 days in advance if you plan to bring a cake so we can best accommodate your celebration. Please email date and time of reservation, contact name and any pertinent cake details to support@nashboawinery.com.
