J’s Restaurant offers an exquisite venue to accommodate attendees that wish to host small intimate gatherings. Nestled in the comfortable country setting that permeates Nashoba Valley Winery, is J’s, our rustic farmhouse restaurant. Offering a character all its own with graceful and peaceful views of the orchard and countryside, J’s is an idyllic New England setting for any special occasion. J’s dining rooms have a rustic elegance all their own with a sweeping staircase in the foyer, period chandeliers, an inviting fieldstone fireplace complete with a gorgeous mantelpiece, the farm house’s original wide hardwood floors, intimate lighting, tables with cast iron bottoms, mahogany chairs, and warm painted walls with leaves from the orchard hiding throughout the scenery. Your guests will dine in the warm and inviting surroundings of J’s farmhouse restaurant, providing a refreshing alternative to banquet halls and hotel function rooms.
The Menu for your evening will be created from either our current seasonal menu or at your direction. The easiest and least expensive approach is to design your menu around our current menu but we are able to create a personalized menu to suit your desire. A common approach is to select 2 appetizers, 4 entrees, and 3 dessert selections from our current menu. Your guests will be presented with your selections on a personalized menu, without pricing. You may wish to add to your menu by including a selection of passed hors d’oeuvres should you desire to host a reception period preceding your dinner. It is always your option to include or not to include beer and wine but unfortunately we do not offer a cash bar or separate billing service for your guests as all food, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, tax, and service will be presented on one bill. For events at our restaurant, we impose facility fees and food minimums detailed below. The minimum food guarantee is imposed only if the total amount of your food order for your function is less than the minimum guarantee. As an example, a function for 50 people would require food charges in the range of approximately $25.00 per person on a Thursday evening to meet the minimum food guarantee of $1,200.00 and $45.00 per person to meet the minimum food guarantee of $2,075.00 on Saturday and Sunday.
The charges stated above do not include any services for coordination vendors, decorations and scheduling. If you are planning an event that will involved the coordination of services and/or decorations, additional charges for one of our event coordinators will apply.
The minimum guarantee is not a fixed price fee for your event but rather the minimum amount that you are required to pay for food. Please note that the facility fee, charges for alcoholic beverages such as beer and wine and any other services provided at your request, are not considered in calculating the minimum food guarantee. Tax (7.0%) and gratuity (19%) will be calculated on all charges incurred for your event including food, food surcharge, facility fee, beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) as well as any other services or items supplied at your request.
