The Art of Tasting
Wine and Small Plates

The Art of Tasting is available everyday from 11:30 am until 45 minutes before closing.

Welcome to the “Art of Tasting” experience where we will take you on a journey of pairing different wines with various foods. Here, we offer you a flexible experience where you can create your own unique tasting. Check out our menu below and the wines we suggest to pair with each small plate. Although we are here to assist and suggest, the ultimate experience is all about you and what you want to taste.

Each experience starts with a small fee of $10.00 so that we can provide you with a commemorative Nashoba Wine Glass to use during your tasting and take home, along with two one-ounce pours of wines to pair with our apple and cheese amuse bouche. This starter course allows you to appreciate the impact that food has on your palate when paired with wines. Our tasting room guides will explain the old adage of buy on apples, sell on cheese.  This saying has been attributed to British wine merchants meaning that if a wine tastes good when paired with a raw, uncooked apple, it must be truly good. Also, pairing any wine with cheese will make it more palatable to the average consumer and easier to sell. Once you try and explore your opening pairing, you can decide whether you would like to try a tasting of food without wine or a tasting of wine without food or even a combination of both, which we highly recommend.

All our wines and beers are available for tastings every day at a price of $2.00 per one ounce pour while spirits are priced at $4.00 per half ounce pour.  The “Art of Tasting” is available every day of the week from 11:30 am until 4:30 pm. You can try none, one, or several plates with wine pairings. Come in and create your unique experience, and we will guide you through your tasting adventure. Our aim is to offer different foods with small servings of wine so that you can experience how different wines taste with various foods.

Not in the mood for food? Not a problem. We are more than happy to have you enjoy our wine tastings without food. Each reservation is for a maximum of 90 minutes, and we need to make room for others who wish to join in as the space at our winery reserved for this experience is limited to people over the age of 21.

If you’re thinking of having lunch at the winery, we welcome you to experience our menu as your lunch, appetizer, or snack. Our Small Plates menu is served every day from 11:30 am until 45 minutes before closing.  We also offer a full service Lunch Menu at J’s Restaurant on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. -2 pm.
