We hope this message finds you well! It is with a heavy heart that we share the unfortunate news that our beloved crop has suffered tremendously due to the harsh winter conditions this year. We estimate that we have lost about 70% of our crop as a result of temperatures plummeting to a staggering 20 degrees below zero over the course of a few days.

During the holiday season, we presold around 80 tickets for gifting. Since we will be able to host only 2 harvests this season – specifically, the Vignoles and St. Croix harvests, all ticket spots for these events have already been taken by those who pre-purchased them, which we know may come as a great disappointment to some.

As one of our premiere events, we must confess that this news is equally upsetting for us, as it has always been a joy to host these gatherings and to share our produce with everyone.

However, we must remain optimistic and look forward to the possibility of getting together again in the future – perhaps even as soon as 2024. Thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time!

Remember to Buy wine – Keep us alive!

** Breaking News **

We still need help for the St. Croix Harvest this Sunday on September 10th.  Come be part of something local and join us for an unforgettable experience all the while helping a family farm.  $50 per per person price includes coffee, donuts, harvest, wine reception and luncheon.  Event duration is from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Limited tickets. Book now as we will sell out today.

Discover the ultimate one-of-a-kind experience that awaits you! Join the team that will harvest the most amazing vintages of Estate wines, including St. Croix, Vignole, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Cabernet Franc. The harvest dates are still unconfirmed, as the grapes have not yet given any indication of when they will be ready. The year has been a difficult one for grape growing, but our apples have never looked better. You now have the opportunity to be involved in the wine and harvesting process, and live your dreams of being a Vintner for a day!

Imagine being part of our vintner harvest team, where 40 like-minded individuals will take part in the harvesting of 3 to 4 tons of grapes in about 3 hours! The process involves moving the grapes from the vine to lugs and Gators and making their way to the winery where the magic of wine-making begins! You will enjoy the fruits of labor and taste the end results (wine) from the previous year’s harvest. As a member of our team, you will have access to a knowledgeable assistant to answer any questions you may have about farming and the winemaking process.

The “From Vine to Wine” experience is a unique, one-of-a-kind opportunity to have fun with your friends while supporting a local farm. Our team harvesters receive a full day packed with excitement from 10 am to 2:30 pm, with a registration time of 10 to 10:30 am in J’s Restaurant where you can enjoy coffee and cider donuts while we give you a quick overview and the do’s and don’ts. At 10:30 am until 12:00 pm, the team harvests the grapes, and then at 12:30-2:00 pm, it’s time to relax at J’s for the remainder of your afternoons with a Wine Reception and delicious luncheon.

Tips for harvesting include wearing sunscreen, hats, and closed-toed shoes, bringing a water bottle, and even your gloves and clippers. Also, don’t forget to avoid wearing any perfume, cologne, or after shave, or you may attract those pesky bees!
