Can I show up without a reservation?

We will always do our best to seat, serve or accommodate everyone that shows up. However, since we cannot predict how many people will show up without reservations, there will be times when we might not be able to accommodate walkins. Below is a summary of our experience.

Apple Picking does not require a reservation and you simply need to check in at our retail shop and purchase a bag. However, please appreciate that apple picking does not come with a table so if you intend to sit and enjoy the winery after picking please make a reservation for the Vintner’s Knoll or read the information below about when reservations are required.

Vintner’s Knoll Restaurant does not require reservations on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday but it is always helpful to us if you make a reservation especially are planning to visit with more that 6 friends. On weekends we respectfully request that visitors make a reservation during the months of September and October as we often sell out on Saturday and Sunday during these months. We try to post on our website when we are sold out in advance. We often post that we will be taking walkins on a weekend however, please note that this is intended to represent that while we are not sold out and will accept walkins for the tables available there is a high probability that available tables will be filled depending on the number of people that decide to show up without reservations.

Tastings does not require reservations on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. On Friday, we recommend reservations during the months of September and October since we are using our smaller tasting room. It is always helpful if you make a reservation especially are planning to visit with more that 6 friends. On weekends we respectfully request that visitors make a reservation as we often sell out.

Tours are not offered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Tours on Saturday and Sunday are offered 4 times per day and accommodate 20 people on each tour so we are often sold out.

J’s Restaurant rarely accepts walkins for dinner or brunch so I would not visit hoping to be seated at J’s without a reservation.
