What makes a great wine
When it comes to wine, there is no definitive rule on what makes a wine exceptional. Each person has a unique preference in taste and aroma, which means that what is special for one person may not be the same for another. However, this is the beauty of wine’s versatility – it can cater to the diverse preferences of people. Exploring and finding your preferred wine is an exciting task because there are many varieties and flavors to try.
Ultimately, your wine preference and what you consider as exceptional will depend on many factors, such as the occasion, the food pairing, the time of day, the weather, and your mood. Wine-tasting is a journey that is influenced by your personal experiences, memories, and emotions. Therefore, it’s crucial to keep exploring and discovering new wines to expand your palate and appreciate the art and science of wine-making.
When we go to a restaurant, we don’t always order the same thing that we always order. We might try something new, or we might order something that we’ve heard good things about. The same is true with wine. We shouldn’t be afraid to try new wines, even if they’re not from grapes or made from popular grape varieties.
If you really like a wine, then it is an exceptional wine, regardless of what anyone else thinks. Enjoy life, drink to your health, and drink what you like!
