Why no refunds or rescheduling
Thank you for considering our policies regarding ticket cancellations and refunds. We believe it is important to provide detailed explanations of our policies to ensure that our customers understand the reasoning behind them. It can be frustrating to learn that tickets cannot be refunded or rescheduled, but it is essential that our business remains financially viable so that we can continue delivering exceptional experiences to our patrons.
When purchasing a non-refundable reservation or ticket, it is important to understand that there is a risk of being unable to attend the event for various reasons. We advise our customers to book as close to the event date as possible to minimize the chances of being unable to attend. There are options available to patrons who cannot attend; they can sell or give their tickets to someone else or forfeit their payment.
Our policies are in place to ensure that we can schedule adequate staffing for our events well in advance usually weeks in advance. Our staff have to be paid whether or not a customer cancels their reservation or ticket. It would be unfair to ask our staff to stay home due to last-minute cancellations or to accept reduced pay because fewer people decided to attend. Additionally, when people try to book a reservation and see that reservations are sold out, they generally do not return to the site hoping for a cancellation. Usually the opportunity to accomodate that customer is lost so that when a customer cancels it is very unlikely that the opening will be sold. Generally, if people notify us at least a week in advance we will try to accomodate a reschedule but never a refund. Once the week starts, we hold tight to our policy as staff is scheduled and preparations have begun.
